community

Protecting Our Community

For seven years as a prosecutor, I stood with law enforcement on the front lines, fighting to get justice for victims of violent crime. I worked every day to combat drug trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence, earning a proven track record in public safety. As your judge, I will use that experience to hold dangerous criminals accountable and deliver on my promise to keep Washington County safe.

we-the-people

Defending the Constitution

Public trust in our legal system is undermined by activist judges who attempt to legislate from the bench. As a judicial conservative, I believe a judge’s duty is to interpret the law as it is written, not to invent new laws based on personal or political agendas. In my courtroom, the Constitution and the law will be applied fairly and impartially – ensuring that the outcome of cases are based on facts, not opinion.

law

Upholding the Rule of Law

We are a nation of laws, and the judiciary is the ultimate safeguard for our individual liberties. A judge must have the courage to uphold the rule of law and defend the Constitution against government overreach. I am a staunch defender of our constitutional rights, and, as your judge, I will ensure that the law is applied equally and fairly to all – protecting the freedoms that make our community strong.
